Are you a small business?
Are you interested in a larger exposure?
Did you know that more and more adults are turning to search engines like Google to do more and more of the initial “research” when trying to find goods or services? In these days of instant information fewer people actually use a phonebook or flyers. Customers want to find the information when it is convenient for them and this is normally in the evenings.
I can help you reach that customer at 9 p.m. and you don’t even have to be at the office for it to happen.
How can I help you?
I can design a custom website and web solution for your business. I can build you a site that you can update yourself, regardless of your computer user experience. Most companies will charge you between $600-$1000 to provide you this custom service and their sites won’t be updatable, if you want updates you’ll have to pay them more.
I will design a site that is suited to your business, help you get dependable, inexpensive hosting, set up hosting and a domain name (www.yourbusinesshere.com), provide training to you and get your business online for around 50% less than what others would charge.
My prices include 4 updates (one major update, three minor updates) a year instead of a per update charge.
My prices will not only get you a site but will also empower you to run your site with very little effort. When I’m done you’ll have a fully functional website that you can update at will, add more information, add specials, post photographs, etc, without the need to hire a full time person to be your webmaster.
What I can do for your business:
Design a site, logo, letterhead, even busness cards.
I will find you inexpensive, reliable web hosting and domain registration.
Provide you a mock-up* of a site before implementing. You can be as involved with the website design as you desire.
*Mock-up is included in price, $75 if all that is desired is a mock-up.
There are three main reasons why small business owners don’t have a website:
1) they don’t realize just how important it is.
2) they lack the knowledge to put together a site.
3) they view it as a cost prohibitive option.
When you look at what a website can do for your business you quickly realize that you really can’t afford not to have one and that’s where I come in.
I specialize in small information based websites at a reasonable rate. The average cost to design a basic website by a professional is around $499+ and hosting, this is a monumental expense for most small business owners but even at this price if you want to take your business to the next level it is worth every penny. But as a small business myself I realize that every dollar counts and that it is easier to stay the course and save that money and stick to what you know.
Reasons why you should have a website:
- A website will be the cheapest employee that you will have. Imagine an employee that is available 24 hours a day, doesn’t take sick days, and doesn’t need a lunch break.
- A website allows you to take your local business and expand it past your local area.
- A website allows you another avenue for potential customers to find you.
- A website allows you to try new ideas and get your product or service out to many more people than just hanging up a flyer or business card.
- A website can say a lot about you and your business but can also be the deciding factor for a customer. I know that if I’m shopping around and a business has a website that I can go to that more often than not I’ll go with the business that has the easiest obtainable information for me.
- A website shows customers who, what, where, how, and so much more.
- A website will not only help you earn more money but will actually save you money. Simply by giving customers another way to reach you is the easiest way to save money. An email allows you to get back to the customer when it is convenient for you instead of them calling you when you are right in the middle of dealing with another customer is reason enough in my opinion.
Example: You are in a face to face with customer A and your cell phone rings, it is a potential customer that may or may not pan out and is only calling for information. You have a decision to make, do you answer the call and end up with a dead lead and a customer in front of you that feels like a second class citizen because after all his time is money too. Or do you forward it to voicemail and hope that the customer on the line leaves a message so you can devote your time to customer A who is and should be your number one priority at that moment?
Now imagine that you are in that situation but you have a website, it’s a win-win situation then and this is how:
You are face to face with customer A and your cell phone rings, you have no problem sending to voicemail because your voicemail tells the potential customer that they can leave a message or go to your website and send you an email. Customer A sees that they are the top priority at that moment and the caller is getting a way to get the information that they want.
I believe that it shouldn’t cost a lot for a small business to get online, I think you’ll be surprised at how reasonable my rates are compared to the others.
